Tuscaloosa police arrest 12 people in connection with over 100 break-ins

    Tuscaloosa, Ala -
    The Tuscaloosa police department arrested 12 different people and charged them with numerous vehicle burglaries. The arrest took place over the last three weeks.

  Police investigators say the suspects arrested are responsible for approximately 100 vehicle break-ins in and around Tuscaloosa going back as far as September of 2008.

  The latest suspects taken into custody include 34-year old David Kyle Crowe of Tuscaloosa and 33-year old Christopher Lynn Holmes of Duncanville.
 
  Crowe charged with four counts of unlawful breaking and entering. Homes is charged with five counts of unlawful breaking and entering.

    Police recovered two laptop computers, GPS devices, clothing, CD’S and purses among many other items in the suspects homes and vehicles.
    Investigators say many items have been identified and returned to the owners.
