Tuberville Out: Fans react

People have been hashing out Tommy Tuberville’s resignation on radio and in sports bars since the news broke.
One fan said,  “Tuberville ends his career 85-40 on the Plains. Ten years of success. Obviously not good enough this year.“

But should it be? Many fans say Tommy Tuberville’s overall performance outshines this season’s 5-7 record.

“I was very disappointed. He’s done Auburn a good job- best winning percentage in the conference for the past five years,“ 35:17 You don’t fire somebody after one bad year,“

The rumors have been swirling for weeks - but the conformed news is still catching people by surprise.

“Watching the whole thing go down was just shocking honestly. I thought Auburn would at least give him one more year,“

Not many people think the resignation was the right decision.

“I think it was the best thing for both parties,“

“He had a great run - he did the university proud. He represented with class. But now the run is over with,“

As for the belief that Nick Saban and his quick dominance of football in this state contributed to Tuberville’s departure -
“I hear so many people call it the Saban affect - it’s not the Saban affect. It’s the winning and losing and the way that it happened.“

Saban effect?  Spare me please.  This is all one man’s doing - the disease that has spread among all of Auburn University known as Bobby Lowder.  Until he is out of the system, our school will never be the same great institution it has been for so many years.

As an Auburn Nation, we need to work together to stop this man from totally ruining Auburn.  He’s been after Tuberville for years because he is not a “yes man.“  Lowder wants someone to cow-tow to him (to put it mildly).  Tuberville has principles and won’t throw his people under the bus for this excuse of a human being, and Lowder didn’t like it.  This should be OUR cue to get rid of HIM.  Whatever it takes.

1.  Don’t shop at Colonial Brookwood Village.
2.  Don’t renew your lease with Colonial residential/commercial properties.
3.  Take your accounts out of Colonial Banks.

It’s a small start, but we need to start to finally be heard.  Let’s band together and find a solution to our REAL problem, and stop wasting breath and time on Bama people.  They’re clueless and would like to take credit for everything, but this has nothing to do with those people.

Lowder must go.  Period.
