Travel Channel Show to Feature Scary Side of Sloss Furnaces

BIRMINGHAM:  You can catch a glimpse of Sloss Furnaces on your TV and in person next month.  The Birmingham landmark will premiere a new series on the Travel Channel. 

November 14th, the Travel Channel will feature Sloss on a new series titled “Ghost Adventures.“  The Travel Channel says show’s host will visit the landmark and the community and talk to people about hauntings, then supposedly go “face to face” with spirits at the site. 

You can watch the premiere live- at Sloss Furnaces.  It takes place Saturday, November 14th at 8pm.  Admission is free- but you are asked to bring a canned good to donate to a local food kitchen.  You are also encouraged to bring your own chair.
