Today is Deadline to File for Stimulus Check

Today, Wednesday October 15th, is the deadline to file taxes and receive a government stimulus check.  According to the Internal Revenue Service close to 86,000 Alabamians who get social security or veteran’s benefits have not filed tax forms that would make them eligible for government stimulus checks.  Each eligible person is entitled to $300 if unmarried, $600 if married and $300 additional dollars for each child.  For more information, go to http://www.irs.gov.
