Theft arrest made in Etowah County

A man was arrested and jailed on suspicions of stealing a computer and video games.
According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Jeffery Waylon Jacobs, 28, of Attalla, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
The incident occurred at a home on Jacobs Lane in the Ducks Springs community. 
A laptop computer, 37 DVD movies and a total of seven PlayStation 2 and XBOX games were stolen from the residence.
All items were recovered from Jacobs’s residence and a local pawn shop. 
Jacobs is being detained at the Etowah County Detention Center.
