Tenn. father accused of abusing his infant son

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (AP) - A man living near the Alabama state
line has been charged with abusing his 4-month-old son.
    Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore said 22-year-old Phillip
Blake Putnam of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., has been charged with
aggravated child abuse.
    Authorities said the baby was taken to Crockett Hospital with a
broken arm. The child had to be taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in
Nashville to be treated for the injuries.
    Putnam was being held in the Lawrence County Jail without bail
Tuesday.
