Eighteen-year-old Elizabeth Karol Cobb died Friday at Huntsville Hospital after her car slid across a road and hit a tree Thursday morning in Huntsville. Cobb was with two friends from the Job Corps program at Gadsden State Community College when the wreck happened. They were not seriously injured.

Cobb was a junior when the bus carrying students from Lee nose-dived from an overpass and crashed on Nov. 20, 2006. She said she had moved toward the back after giving up her seat at the front of the bus to one of the four teens who died.
