Student Drug Testing To Resume at Clay-Chalkville High
» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

The Clay City Council has approved subsidizing the cost of random drug testing for students at Clay-Chalkville High School.

The city has agreed to pay two installments of $7,500 for the drug testing program.  The program was discontinued this fall because the city did not make a payment in the spring of 2008.  Council members have voted to resume payments and include the $15,000 amount in the 2009 budget.

Only students who participate in extra-curricular school activities will be tested, which includes those who have passes to park on school property.
