Fire sparks evacuation of B’ham State Trooper post

The Birmingham Post of the Alabama State Troopers and Department of Transportation had to be evacuated today.
The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded to a call at 908 Bankhead Highway at 7:40 am CT.
There were reports of smoke coming from a second floor.
Fire crews arrived, and found out there was an electrical fire in the building.
There are no reports of injuries.
