Sheriff’s Department Probing Brighton Murder

BRIGHTON, Ala.—- The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder committed at Bessemer Superhighway mobile home park around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirms the victim is 24 year old Jose Juan Garcia-Huerta, a resident of the mobile home park.
The exact cause of death is not being released.
Despite the fact the crime was committed inside the city limits of Brighton, the police department there tells NBC13 HD that the Sheriff’s Office is heading up the investigation.

It is nice to know that the Jefferson County Sheriff’s department investigated deaths and goes after the person or person involved. Maybe Walker County should take some notes from you guys then maybe they could do their job right. Just asking but if you had a case where a man was shot over a game and his ex brother -in-law was the one that shot him. Would it take you about four days to get the warrent and then a week has gone by and nothing???? This is just sad and justice is not being served. I think that it is wrong and the the head of the Walker County office should be fired. I mean if Mr. Tirye can not do his job then he does not need to be there.
