WARRIOR, Ala.—- The Warrior Fire Department is still searching for Timothy Sigafoose in the Locust Fork branch of the Warrior River.

Lieutenant Chris Hardin says the river’s current is too strong for a dive team, but they are searching the riverbanks by boat.

Sigafoose and his 7 year old stepson ended up in the river Friday night after their canoe capsized.

Hardin says they plan on dragging the river bottom on Tuesday and the conditions will be favorable for diving.

The boy is his son, not his stepson.
