Volunteers search for Nadia Kersh
HOMEWOOD-The search for Nadia Kersh started at 9 Thursday morning.
People interested in volunteering to assist in the search is reported to the Homewood Police Dept. Training Center, located at 187 Citation Court in Homewood.
Sign-in will began at 8 a.m. and the search will begin at 9 a.m.
23-year-old Nadia Kersh was last seen on November 3rd leaving her job at Tria Market in Homewood.
There is now a $35,900 reward in the case.
Monday, Homewood police declared the case a criminal investigation- and asked CSX railroad to help. Kersh’s purse was found near the railroad tracks. Investigators found her car abandoned in West Birmingham.
Police say they have strong leads and evidence linked to a male suspect- but have not charged anyone in the case.
Kersh went missing November 3rd after daycare workers reported she did not pick up her son. She was last seen leaving her workplace at Tria Market in Homewood.
