School bus crash sends five children to a hospital

A collision between a school bus and a pickup truck in Houston
County sent five students to a hospital with minor injuries.
Two adults in a pickup truck also were hurt in the accident. A
sheriff’s deputy said it appeared the adults may have suffered
broken bones.
Alabama state troopers said the crash occurred Wednesday
afternoon at the intersections of D Hodge Road near County Road 33.
Troopers said the accident remains under investigation.
