Police investigating shooting at Homewood apartment complex

HOMEWOOD, Ala: A shooting at “The Overlook at Homewood” apartment complex has police investigating if the incident was self defense, or a crime.

Police say a suspect went into a unit at the complex and chased the man inside to the back.  That’s when the bullets started flying.  Investigators say the unidentified suspect was shot several times- he’s at UAB. Doctors are not releasing his condition.

Charges in the case have not been filed.
