Law enforcement officials say a couple
found dead inside a rural Tennessee cabin appears to be a case of
double suicide.

Blount County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Marian O’Briant says
the bodies are those of 67-year-old John Raymond Boles, and
59-year-old Yvonne Yearby Boles of Decatur, Ala.

The bodies were found by a housekeeper about 2:45 p.m. Saturday
in a rented cabin. Both had been shot. They were supposed to have
checked out Saturday after a week.

O’Briant says a revolver and a note at the scene were found at
the scene. The note pointed to illness as the reason the couple
wanted to die, she said.
