GADSDEN, Ala. (AP) - An Etowah County Grand jury has returned an
indictment including two counts of capital murder against a Rainbow
City mother whose 5-year-old son was beaten to death in 2006.
Shalinda Glass, who is 28, has been in the Etowah County Jail
since her son’s death. Kevin Andre Towles, who was dating Glass at
the time, was found guilty of the boy’s murder in October.
The body of 5-year-old Geontae “Gee” Glass was found in the
trunk of a car one day after his mother reported him missing in a
faked abduction.
Testimony from Glass’ daughter indicated Towles had beaten the
boy until he couldn’t move.
A pathologist testified that Geontae was most likely paralyzed
by the assault and that the injuries show he was beaten over a
period of days.

Its all about state making $$$
I went through this garbage when I was sold to a family black market. Think it was for slavery and abuse cus thats what it was like. Laws should be alot tougher than they are. Ive taken care of a couple brothers 4 and 5 for the state but Alabama gave them back to parents only to be abused more and then seperated. Whats wrong with this state when it comes to this. Oh I know Go to Talladega, across road from the child services. It would blow your mind on how many kids are put in state run homes there. We tried to adopt, filled out forms and all to never be contacted once. Time for some law changes in alabama concerning these problems.
Wish someone would beat the two of them until they can’t move!!! To think that a 5 year old child went through something like this is almost more than I can handle. What has happened to people?!!
