Miles College Students Watch Obama Accept Nomination

At least 100 Miles College students packed into the student union Thursday night to watch Sen. Barack Obama oficially accept the Democratic nomination for the president of the United States.

Supporters called his speech exciting, exhilerating and, of course, historic.

Some professors at Miles say Obama’s campaign has encouraged young voters and students.

School administrators pushed back a 9 PM campus-wide curfew to allow students to see the speech.
