Man Robbed Of Gold Chain: Suspect Caught

One person is in custody, following an apparent robbery of a person in Center Point.
According to Sgt. Randy Christian of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened Friday, August 29, 2008, in the 2400 block of 1st Street N.W.
The victim was packing suitcases in a car, when three men emerged from the woods, and demanded money at gunpoint.
The victim had no money, and the offenders took a gold chain from the victim.
The suspects ran back into the woods, and one of them was later captured.
A handgun was also recovered.
He is being questioned, and faces Robbery 1st Degree changes.
The other 2 suspects remain on the run.
