Man burned in apparent meth lab fire

  OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (AP) - An Owens Cross Roads man is
recovering after suffering first and second degree burns in an
apparent meth lab fire.
    Huntsville Emergency Medical Services responded to a call around
2:30 a.m. Thursday where a man was transported to Huntsville
Hospital for burns following a fire in a shed.
    HEMSI chief operations officer Don Webster said 30-year-old Bo
R. Bass was burned on his hands and arms. He also had minor burns
on his face.
    Owens Cross Roads police chief William Martin said the
Huntsville-Madison County Strategic Counterdrug Team was also
investigating the crime scene.
    Authorities said it appears a meth lab caught fire inside the
shed.
