Man arrested for burglary in Tuscaloosa County

A man has been arrested and charged with burglary in Tuscaloosa County.
According to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with a K9 deputy responded to a residence in the 14000 Block of Sugarloop Road in Fosters in reference to a Burglary in Progress about 4:38pm CT Wednesday, December 1, 2009.
When deputies arrived, they spoke with witnesses who pointed out where the suspect could be found.
The suspect, Michael Jones, 49, was taken into custody at his residence where he was hiding behind a couch.
He was charged with Burglary 3 and transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
