Lawnmower theft suspect arrested in Etowah County

A man accused of stealing lawn mowers and equipment has been arrested and charged.
According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Alex Christopher Howard, 40, of Gadsden, has been arrested and charged with theft of property.
“Howard is charged with three counts of second degree theft of property and one count of first degree theft of property.  All are felony charges,” states Investigator Shane Hartley. 
Howard was part of a theft ring stealing utility trailers, push and riding lawn mowers and weed eaters in the Altoona, Attalla and Boaz area.
The stolen items were taken out of Etowah County to Albertville and Kilpatrick where they were being sold.
Howard is being detained at the Etowah County Detention Center.

Well whats new ,  Etowah County Sheriff’s is a joke , my house was broken into and hundreds of dollars in stuff taken. Finger prints were left and they wouldn’t even take them , they are still there and who’s to say he couldn’t be one of them. Frecken criminals score another one thanks to Etowah County Sheriff’s Dept.
