Lawmaker: Hasan had communications with Pakistan
Published: November 14, 2009
FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) -The Fort Hood shooting suspect made or accepted wire transfers with Pakistan, a country wracked by Muslim extremist violence.
That’s according to Texas Congressman Michael McCaul, the ranking Republican on the House Homeland Security Intelligence Subcommittee.
In a statement, McCaul says he’s confirmed through “independent sources” that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan also had communications with Pakistan.
Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder.
The Army psychiatrist is recovering in the intensive care unit at San Antonio’s Brooke Army Medical Center from the wounds he suffered when police shot him.
Hasan has told his attorney, John Galligan, that he has no feeling in his legs and extreme pain in his hands. Galligan says doctors have told Hasan he may be permanently paralyzed from the waist down.

JUST HANG HIM!!!
Well said
I would like to draw everybody’s attention to Pakistan Taliban Chief Beitullah Meshood this year saying there will be attacks on US soil vulnerable ones. Everyone thought on other lines than like this military one. He meant this kind of attacks only. Now it is clear that taliban could tigger voilence in Military through their religious persons. Government has to throughly check the ones affectionate to these causes in military severely. Imams, Priests, appointed to mosques, churches, temples are all to be interviewed through FBI and only when clearance and permission is granted by the FBI and the interview is satisfied they should be allowed to work in religious places. If one is in police department, or in military they should be firmly made to believe police is their religion, military is their religion till they retire. If these feelings differ they have to be transferred to other work where arms, ammunitions are not involved. I would even suggest the priests or Imams of all worship places to meet the respective FBI offices monthly once in the interest of the Nation. It would be better if they are directly selected and given employment by Fed authorities and the respective worship places to pay their salaries. Any appointment should come from Government and worship places should submit applications of their priests and Imams to Government and get clearance and permission. This will not be an interfearance act in religious matters rather be a tolerance act by the Government.
