Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies find meth lab in house

Deputies arrested man suspected of having a meth lab in a house.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Deputies responded to a house Thursday, November 12, 2009 in the 3500 block of Railroad Drive in the Lower Coalburg Community of Jefferson County.
An investigation led to the discovery of an active Meth Lab along with finished meth product, digital scales, a rifle and other items for cooking methamphetamine.
The resident, Timothy Joe Skelton was arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine and other charges.
He is still in the Jefferson County Jail.
Timothy Joe Skelton, 45 is charged with Unlawful Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana.
