ANDALUSIA – Governor Bob Riley, local leaders and officials with Vector Aerospace Corporation will celebrate the grand opening of the company’s newest helicopter repair and overhaul facility in Andalusia on Wednesday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m.  Vector Aerospace has had a presence in Covington County since the opening of its first repair and overhaul facility in 2004 at the South Alabama Regional Airport.  Since that time, the company has experienced strong business growth, necessitating a new, larger facility that is dedicated to serving the helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul needs of operators from around the world.  The event will take place at the Vector Aerospace Hangar at the South Alabama Regional Airport, 22378 Billie Blackmon Road in Andalusia.
