Governor Says Wear Your College Colors Friday

    Governor Bob Riley has declared Friday “College Colors Day” in
Alabama. He urges Alabamians to suit up in clothing that features
the colors or logos of their favorite college or university today.

    There are more than 50 collages and universities in the state.
According to the Collegiate Licensing Company, royalties from the
sale of Alabama college and university merchandise raises more than
$4 million for scholarships.
