Day bump. Whatever the case, regular unleaded was up slightly
overnight according to AAA Alabama.
    The statewide average for regular Thursday is $3.53 a gallon -
up one-tenth of a penny.
    The national average is $3.66 a gallon.
    Midgrade remained steady at $3.69, as did premium which averaged
$3.79 a gallon. Diesel was down slightly to $4.15 a gallon.
    AAA’s metro averages showed Montgomery had the cheapest average
price for regular at $3.48. Mobile had the highest metro average at
$3.57 a gallon.
