Funeral Set for Walker County Air Crash Victims

Family and Friends in Jasper, Alabama will lay to rest Bobby Crump, his wife Jan and son Matthew today. 

All three along with a 4th passenger were killed in a crash last Sunday after taking off from the Jasper Airport for a trip to the gulf coast.  Federal officials are still investigating the crash.

Visitation will be held today from 11am to 12pm at First United Methodist Church in Jasper.  Funeral services will be held immediately after at 1pm.

Bobby was known for his ownership in a family car dealership.  Matthew will be honored by local volunteer firefighters as well.  He had worked with the unit. 

The 4th victim was Lauren Brue, Matthew’s girlfriend.  She and Matthew were students at the University of Alabama.
