Former Tide Player Jimmy Johns Hearing Waived

Former Alabama Crimson Tide football player Jimmy Johns will not have a hearing in court next week.
Attorney James Roberts tells NBC13HD News his client Johns waived a scheduled preliminary hearing which was set to happen Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
Johns was arrested in June on charges including drug distribution and possession.
Tide Head Coach Nick Saban dismissed Johns from the team.
The case now goes to a grand jury.
