Baldwin County authorities are on the
lookout for a man who has been posing as a police officer.

Sheriff’s Major Anthony Lowery said the impostor stopped two
women in the Spanish Fort area. He said the incidents occurred
Tuesday evening on U.S. 31 and Wednesday on Alabama 59.

Lowery said the man was not in uniform and was driving a
light-colored vehicle, possibly a Dodge Charger. The car reportedly
had a revolving blue light.

Police recommend asking for identification if you suspect an
officer isn’t legitimate.

And if you’re still skeptical, call 911.
