Funeral for Cornelia Wallace on Monday in Florida

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The funeral for former Alabama first lady Cornelia Ellis Wallace will be Monday in Winter Haven, Fla. Wallace died Thursday in Sebring, Fla., from cancer. She was 69.
Family members said visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven, followed by internment in Lakeside Memorial Park in the city. The family said donations may be made to the Tallahassee, Fla., office of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
