ATHENS, Ala. (AP) - Officials say at least four celebrities were ticketed along Interstate 65 while racing through Alabama during an annual car rally that costs $20,000 to enter.

The Bullrun Rally, which reportedly drew former NBA basketball player Dennis Rodman and auto-racing legend Mario Andretti, made its way along Interstate 65 on Tuesday morning, heading to Austin, Texas.

Trooper spokesman Curtis Summerville said they received a tip from Tennessee state troopers to be on the lookout for Lamborghinis, Corvettes and other fast cars heading through Alabama on Interstate 65.

Summerville said the four tickets written in Alabama was for drivers speeding in the 80s and 90s.

Bullrun 2009 began with a launch party in Manhattan on July 10 and will end July 17 in Austin.
