Four Suspects Arrested in the Murders of Five People

The Shelby County sheriff’s office reports they have arrested 4 people connected to the murder of 5 people in a north Shelby apartment complex.
They are….
Castaneda, Alejandros., 31 years of age, from Birmingham, Al., is charged with two counts of capital murder (Murder for Consideration and Murder of Two or More Persons).  He is being held without bond.
Castaneda, Juan Fransisco, 25 years of age, from Birmingham, Al., is charged with two counts of capital murder (Murder for Consideration and Murder of Two or More Persons).  He is being held without bond.
Rodriguez, Jaime Duenas, 22 years of age, from San Antonio, Tx., is charged with two counts of capital murder (Murder for Consideration and Murder of Two or More Persons).  He is being held without bond.
Jones, Christopher Scott, 40 years of age, from Birmingham, Al., is charged with two counts of capital murder (Murder for Consideration and Murder of Two or More Persons).  He is being held without bond.

Last Wednesday the bodies of the five men were found inside a locked cahaba lake apartment- their throats were all slashed.
