Video: Birmingham Michael Jackson Fan wins tickets to memorial

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A Birmingham woman has learned she has won tickets to attend the Michael Jackson Memorial service in Los Angeles.
Call her a secret “MJ” fan; NBC 13 HD News talked to the fan who did not want to revel her identity about winning the highly sought after tickets and why she is not attending the memorial.

NBC 13 HD News did contact Staples Center Spokesman Michael Roth’s office to inquire about the validity of the online tickets and what will happen to unclaimed tickets. A staff member in Roth’s office responded by saying all fans with online tickets must show identification along with the e-ticket and wristband to gain access into the Staples Center.
At last check officials were still deciding how to distribute any unclaimed tickets.
