Birmingham man was friends with Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was the ultimate performer. In 1984, he and his brothers came to Birmingham to rehearse for the Jacksons Victory Tour. Helping out during that week was a long time friend and limo driver Clifford Muldrow.

Muldrow first met Michael Jackson and his family in the 1970s. For years, he traveled to see Michael and the Jackson 5 in concert and maintained his relationship with the family.

Today we spoke to Muldrow about Michael and their friendship.

Muldrow says he was driving home Thursday when he heard the news of Michael’s death. It made him so emotional that he had to pull over to the side of the road. Muldrow says Jackson will be sorely missed.
