Bibb Co. Volunteer Firefighter Arrested In Connection With Arson Investigation

An 18-year-old Bibb County volunteer firefighter has been arrested in connection with an arson.  Stephen Holmes, spokesman for the Alabama Department of
Insurance, says Charles D. Jewell is being held in the Bibb County jail on one charge of second degree arson. Authorities believe he set fire to an unoccupied Woodstock home Sunday night.
   
No one was injured in the fire. Jewell had been a member of the Green Pond Volunteer Fire Department for two months.

Amen, gold I agree with you, I’m so glad the authorities apprehended him before someone was killed.

no one should be surprised! this happends all the time. it is typical with these vol.fire fighters.these folks have a loose nut!!!!

First I’m glad no one was hurt/killed. I wonder if he wanted attention or is he a asinine idiot? Maybe some jail time will help, to make a better person when he get out. If not, WACTH OUT!!!
