Bessemer Police officers arrested many people suspected of dealing drugs in the area.An undercover drug operation resulted in many arrests today in Bessemer.
Operation Street Storm began at sunrise Tuesday, November 3, 2009, and targeted 32 street-level drug dealers in the Bessemer area.
A total of 84 indictments were issued for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
Some of the drugs found in today’s operation were crack cocaine.
As of 10:00am CT, half of those targeted were in custody.
