Today, Alabama Congressman Artur Davis will take center stage in Denver at the Democratic National Convention. He’s seconding the nomination of Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee for president.

Davis is only speaking for 3 minutes, but he’s spent all week singing Obama’s praises at the convention.

Coming into this week, Democratic Party Leadership wanted to unify members the party nationwide.

Davis says he thinks Hillary Clinton’s speech Tuesday night was a big first step.
“She said to people if you voted for me for the right reasons, because you want to see a more equal country, you want to see a stronger economy, you want to see a president who will get in the trenches and fight for people - if those are the reasons you voted for me than you must transfer your loyalty to Barack Obama,“ says Davis.
Davis says he believes the Democratic Party is now more unified than ever before during this campaign.
