Ala. man arrested for rape, robbery of woman

LOXLEY, Ala. (AP) - A 22-year-old man has been arrested in
connection with the rape and robbery of a woman.
    Police have charged Glen Douglas Byrd with first-degree rape and
robbery after a woman said she was attacked Friday night. Byrd was
arrested Saturday.
    Police did not release any further details about the incident.
Loxley Police Lt. Raymond Lovell said investigators are seeking
another suspect in the incident.
    Byrd remains in the Baldwin County jail in Bay Minette on
$50,000 bond.
    Court records show Byrd was out of jail awaiting a February
trial on theft charges. He also has served a 180-day jail sentence
for exposing himself to a woman at a Target in Daphne in 2006.
