Actress named to play Natalee Holloway in TV movie

BIRMINGHAM:  An actress relatively new to television will portray Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway in an upcoming made for TV movie.  The actress is Amy Gumenick, she is a recent graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara.  Gumenick has had roles in “How I Met Your Mother,“ “Army Wives,“ and can currently be seen in webisodes of NBC’s “My Own Worst Enemy.“

Natalee Holloway disappeared in 2005 while on a graduation trip to Aruba.  Today Hans Mos, the Aruban prosecutor working her case, asked anyone with information in the case to come forward.  Mos says his investigation is near the end.  He says his office needs a few months to investigate statements suspect Joran van der Sloot made during a hidden camera interview.
