2 men arraigned for 3 bank robberies

  BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Two east Alabama men charged in a
two-year-old bank robbery spree have been arraigned in U.S.
District Court in Birmingham.
    U.S. Attorney Alice Martin in Birmingham said 39-year-old Rodney
Eugene Tucker of Anniston and 39-year-old James Arthur Worrills,
Jr., of Talladega made an initial court appearance Thursday.
    Each were charged with three counts of armed bank robbery.
    The FBI said the holdups occurred at Superior Bank in
Childersburg; AmSouth Bank in Anniston; and Colonial Bank in
Alexandria.
    The banks were robbed between March and September 2007.
    No trial date was immediately announced.
