DORA, Ala. -- On Sunday afternoon an active outdoor "Meth" Lab was located in the 3500 block of White Road in Dora, Al.

This lab was located as a result of the Sheriff's Office going to the residence during a Theft Investigation and discovering a "Meth" Lab in an outdoor shed.

This Lab was much larger and more sophisticated than the one seized on Saturday.

Arrested at this location were 30 year old Travis Phillips and 46 year old Stanley Lawson. They were
charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine - $50,000 Bond Each.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated. The recent increase in local Meth Labs can be attributed to a reduction in available "Mexican" Drug Cartels Methamphetamine being brought into our area.

These local labs can be very dangerous. They have the potential to be explosive and very poisonous during the process of the chemicals "cooking".

Anyone that suspects a Meth Lab in their area should notify their local Law Enforcement.
