Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Two University of Alabama football players were arrested Friday in relation to an assault incident at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex, police said.

Quarterback Thomas Darrah and Fullback Jacob Vane were each released from jail on $500 bonds.  University Village managers said one of their residents, who is also an employee of the complex, was assaulted by the players early Sunday morning.

Police said the players made comments about a woman who was with the victim.  Managers said the incident was recorded by surveillance cameras.
