Video: Fact Finder: Adoption in Alabama

» 1 Comment | Post a Comment

Wanted: parents for very special Alabama children.

The State Department of Human Resources says there’s a shortage of people willing to open their hearts and homes and adopt children in the foster care system.

Children in state care have been abused, neglected or abandoned.  Most are not infants and many have siblings who want to be adopted together.

If you’ve ever considered adoption or you have a desire to make a difference in the life of a child you’ve got to watch NBC13HD Lisa Crane’s Fact Finder report.

As a foster parent for over 10 yrs I can attest there are not enough foster parents. Unfortunately the need for foster homes grows more and more every day as children abused and neglected.

If you love children and want to make a difference in a childs life, consider becoming a foster parent. We have two beautiful biological children, two beautiful adopted foster children and a whole host of foster children that have blessed our lives. Hopefully we have been a blessing to them as well.
