Two men arraigned for three armed bank robberies in East Alabama

Two men faces charges in three armed bank robberies in Anniston and Alexandria.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Birmingham, RODNEY EUGENE TUCKER, 39, of Anniston, and JAMES ARTHUR WORRILLS, JR., 39, of Talladega, were arraigned on three charges of armed bank robbery.
The arraignments are announced by United States Attorney, Alice H. Martin and Charles H. Regan, Acting Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation.
According to court documents, on March 2, 2007, TUCKER and WORRILLS entered the Superior Bank located at 33327 U.S. Highway 280 in Childersburg, and using a firearm, robbed the bank of approximately $28,569.00.
On April 4, 2007, TUCKER and WORRILLS entered the AmSouth Bank located at 1420 U.S. Highway 431 in Anniston and using a firearm, robbed the bank of approximately $20,772.00.
On September 5, 2007, TUCKER and WORRILLS entered the Colonial Bank located at 6630 U.S. Highway 431 in Alexandria, and using a firearm, robbed the bank of approximately $10,494.00.
