Tuscaloosa County deputies arrest three robbery suspects
Three men were locked up, after being charged with robbery in Tuscaloosa County.
According to information from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 12000 Block of County Line Rd., Moundville, about 9:00 pm CT Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 on a Robbery call.
Three men, Norman Lowery, 26, Chris Simmons, 19 and Paul Brandon White, 25, went to the victim’s residence and an argument began over the suspects being owed money by the victim.
The suspects allegedly assaulted the victim and stole a cell phone and a undetermined amount of cash.
While enroute to the call, a deputy spotted the suspect’s vehicle, a red two door Ford explorer and made a traffic stop at the Shell gas station in the 9900 Block of Hwy. 69 South.
The suspects were in possession of the stolen items which were recovered from their vehicle.
All three were arrested and charged with Robbery II (13A-8-42) Felony and booked into the Tuscaloosa Co. Jail under $5,000.00 bond each.
