    Three Etowah County residents face
federal bank robbery and firearms charges.

Federal prosecutors Birmingham said Tuesday, a five-count
indictment was returned against 28-year-old Eric Daniels,
35-year-old Arthur Melson, both of Gadsden, and 21-year-old Alanna
Partee of Attalla.

U.S. Attorney Alice Martin said the three are accused of
participating in the July 22 armed robbery of Southern Bank in
Albertville.

The case, according to Martin, is part of an investigation into
a series of bank robberies in east Alabama in August.

    No trial dates were announced.
