Rainbow City Robbery Suspects Lead Police On Chase

Two suspects were taken into custody, after a police pursuit through two counties.
Law enforcement officers say two suspects robbed a person in Rainbow City Wednesday, September 17, 2008, and got away in a car.
Law enforcement agencies pursued the car through Etowah County, into St. Clair County.
The suspect car crashed after the driver apparently lost control, and flipped off Interstate 59/20, near the Springville exit.
Both suspects were injured, one more serious than the other.
St. Clair County, Rainbow City, State Troopers, and Springville agencies were all on the scene Wednesday afternoon about 2:00 p.m.
