Officials release details of Tuscaloosa, Alabama fatal fire

The Tuscaloosa Sheriff’s Office along with Duncanville VFD ,Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue and Northstar Ambulance responded to a house fire in the 13000 block of Double Gate Estates at 0826 this morning. In the course of fighting the fire it was discovered that a White Male, unknown age had perished in the fire.

Exact cause of death is unknown at this time.

The victim has not been positively identified and a person that was at the scene of the fire along with other potential witnesses are being interviewed at this time to try and determine what caused the fire.

The State Fire Marshall’s Office has also responded to assist in this ongoing investigation.
