Hoover Teacher Wins National Award

Spain Park teacher Cheryl Morrow has captured the John S. Morton Teaching Award, the national recognition for economics teachers.

Given by the National Council on Economic Education, the Morton Award comes after Morrow’s winning of the Alabama Economics Teacher of the Year Secondary 2008. 

Morrow, who’s in her 22nd year of education, will be recognized with the award in October at the National Council on Economic Education’s annual conference in Biloxi, Miss.
