ATTALLA, Ala. (AP) - An Etowah County grand jury has indicted
two Atalla men on charges of murder and mutilation of a corpse in
the death of a teenager whose body was found in a freezer.

District Attorney Jimmie Harp said a $250,000 cash bond was set
for the suspects, 22-year-old Troy Andrew Smiley and 19-year-old
Nathaniel Wayne Lee.

Lee is in the Etowah County jail, while Smiley is in the Lee
County jail after a probation revocation hearing Thursday about an
unrelated drug arrest.

Both were indicted in the death of 15-year-old Jeffery Blake
Stone, whose body was found at Lee’s residence July 1. Stone, a
student at Sardis School, was reported missing after he was last
seen March 24.
